   Very sad that our favourite Sunday lunch pub has closed. Always a delightful experience spending Sunday afternoons here

   We used to love coming to the PV for family get togethers but the last two visits have been disappointing. We gave it the benefit of the doubt last time but this latest experience has convinced us that the decline is a trend. The food, once well-cooked and with an interesting twist, has become standard pub grub at gastropub prices. Two of the main course options were sold out at 6.30pm and what options remained were over-seasoned. Crab salad drowned in mayo; plaice swimming in butter, steak tough. Service was friendly but when diners are greeted with a list of what they cannot order , the menu is mundane and food not well cooked, the overall experience is not up to the hefty price tab. What a pity.

   Food is always great there but we had to wait over an hour for steaks!

   A lovely smart pub with a cozy feel. Lovely delicious Sunday lunch and crunchy roast potatoes - which seem to be absent from most roasts but plenty of the soggy kind. Really nice service would definitely go again.

   Good food, good service, but room noisy so needed to shout, and rather dark.

   Tried out the Sunday roast as it came up on a couple top lists. We all tried the pork belly. The pork was tender and melt in the mouth however, it didn't have the crackling. Generous serving of pork, carrots, swede, kale and roast potatoes with plenty of gravy. Service started off well with attentive staff but slowed down a bit once it got busy.

   First time I've been back to the PV in a couple of years as I don't live local anymore. Fantastic as ever. Excellent service and beautiful food. They also accommodated my little 2 year old with some crayons and made her giggle.

   I live locally and so we went for Sunday lunch and both had the roast lamb. The whole thing was really bland, tasteless roast potatoes etc really disappointing food.Due to our Experience I wouldn't be returning anytime soon. Staff were friendly though.

    Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious, fast service, lovely staff and cooked to perfection. Lots of seating space and a very cool decor with original murals. The wine list was really interesting and they even let us try the different wines to decide which bottle we wanted. The providence of the meat is all available and is locally sourced and the staff were very knowledgable. Would definitely recommend this pub to anyone looking for a good sunday lunch in North West Kensington.
