   the place could use a little bit of energy it was extremely quiet , no elevator music, no lively group of happy diners it made date night boring also the doors was open and all the ceiling fans going we ended our meal early because it was freezing inside very uncomfortable

   The staff was absolutely incredible!! The food was delicious! The atmosphere was so beautiful! Overall it was an awesome dinner and experience! We will be back!

   Great food and excellent service from Kaitlyn. Parking was easy to find on the street. Great place for a birthday dinner!

   The prime rib was ok, not good and wasn’t worth the price, mashed potato was kinda dry.

   Firstly, the entrance for the restaurant was not easy to locate. Our table location was nice, however because of the uneven surface of the floor our chairs and table were wobbly, so we had to keep readjusting to find the “flat” surface. Our waiter had far too many tables to manage, it took over 30 mins to get our drinks. Food was “okay,” not to the standard of what you would expect for the price. We had to ask for bread and butter (bread was like what is served at Outback) Meat was tough, however the creamed spinach was good. All in all it took over an hour and 1/2 for us to get our meal. Reservations were made for 7:45 and we didn’t eat until almost 9:30. They have been open for 5 months so we had expected many of these kind of “kinks” to be worked out. Sadly we weren’t “wowed” by our experience.

   They were very accommodating and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was warm but not too pretentious. Highly recommend.

    Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Prime Rib at The Garden, a new restaurant in Walnut Creek that opened in November 2024. Located near the old Scott's Restaurant, this establishment is a haven for prime rib lovers, as it focuses almost exclusively on this classic dish. Inspired by San Francisco's renowned House of Prime Rib, Prime Rib at The Garden aims to deliver a similar experience—and it succeeds beautifully. The star of the menu is, of course, the prime rib, which is flavorful and expertly prepared. Diners can choose from three cuts, with the largest being the impressive 14 oz President's Cut. Each entrée includes two sides; we opted for creamed corn and Au Gratin potatoes, both cooked to perfection. Other tempting side options include creamed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes. To finish, we indulged in a delightful Pear Bread Pudding à la mode—a perfect ending to a rich meal. While the prices are on the higher side, they are not exorbitant for the quality provided. However, some charges felt excessive, such as $12.50 to split a dinner and a $35 corkage fee. Despite this, the overall dining experience was exceptional. The ambiance is classy and elegant, with servers dressed in traditional livery and black tablecloths adding to the upscale feel. For those who crave prime rib but want to avoid the long waits and effort required to dine at the House of Prime Rib in San Francisco, Prime Rib at The Garden is an excellent alternative. It’s perfect for a special night out or when you’re simply in the mood for a delicious prime rib dinner in a refined setting.
