   We have been to prime MANY times and decided on Christmas night to take my in-laws and kids to dinner as a special treat. We were disappointed for the first time ever. Our server was very sub par, steaks were overcooked, and the server at the table behind us split a sauce of some kind which splattered all over my husband and I, to which we had to ask for extra napkins to clean our selves and not even a sorry from anyone. We have never not ordered desert but tonight we just wanted to leave sadly. Very unfortunate to have had this experience on Christmas Day.

   We went here for Christmas dinner. People we met spoke highly of it too. We had a reservation, and were seated within 10 minutes. The restaurant is lovely and the ambiance we upscale and dim lighting made it romantic. Our server was friendly but not very attentive. We went long stretches before he checked on us. Also, we both ordered our filets medium. His was perfect, mine was rare. Server finally came back around and took my steak back. Before he did, he asked me to cut it up the middle and then scrape it onto a different plate vs taking the whole plate back. There was nothing else on the plate. It took a bit to get my steak back, in the meantime my husband shared his. Sides were delicious. When steak came back it was cooked perfectly. No offer to compensate for interruption of the meal. I even confirmed my order with the server before I sent it back. When the server cleared the table to bring out the dessert he left all kinds of crumbs and spills on the table. I had to use my cloth napkin to wipe the table down. A bit disappointing for a fine dining restaurant. Enjoyed the meal when it was finally correct but wouldn’t recommend it for a special occasion.

   The experience is always wonderful but I truly appreciated the new chefs take on the menu! The beef tartar was amazing and the steaks were cooked perfectly. The service is always fantastic but Manny made our meal extra special with recommendations, watching our allergy and being extra helpful with a photo and an extra sweet. This was a Christmas Day dinner w e won't forget.

    Steak tartare and crab cakes were tasty but crispy octopus was not. Steaks were good but on the rare side. Asparagus as overcooked and baked potatoes were more like mashed potatoes put into skins. Was there for a double birthday dinner but it was difficult to talk between the too loud music and a central location next to a talkative party. Was better once they left but maybe the table was too big as we had to move around to talk to the person next to you. Maybe should have requested a booth
