Posados is a Mexican restaurant with a full bar and large menu of authentic dishes. The restaurant was started in 1987 by a dedicated family and has been grown by serving delicious meals and cold drinks while offering impeccable service and hospitality. Posados cultivates a genuine Mexican deseng with hanging flags, colorful banners and old pictures of Mexican life hanging up on the walls. This is a perfect place to bring a gorup of friends for a happy our special, or a quick bite before a night on the town. Posados has losts of incredible Mexican cuisine for diners to try out. Quesadillas, burritos, tacos and enchiladas all have a section on the menu. Each of these items can be ordered with the guests choice of chicken, shrimp, beef or cheese. There is also a Tex Mex section dedicated to the classic fusion between Texas and Mexican cuisine.

This place is good for big groups and all occasions. I would recommend this to company functions and friends looking for a bright and open atmosphere.

The food was VERY GOOD but, the Service was EXCELLENT! Our server described the menu very well and was extremely TIMELY with refills and questions as to whether or not my wife or I needed anything. This was an extremely enjoyable dinner with GREAT Service! We will DEFINITELY return to Posados!

Avoid this restaurant on the days that kids eat free unless you are bringing kids. Apparently there is no limit to the number of kids per adult . This leads to a bunch of kids screaming across the restaurant.

On Cinco de Mayo, I would have expected more specials. Typically we would order shrimp meals when we go and did so this time. However, my shrimp tasted like cleaning material - almost how you would imagine bleach tasting like. The sides were good though, including the cilantro rice and refried beans. The margaritas are a good price, $1.99 for the small house. We have dined here quite a bit in the past but in the Plano location. This location looks a little different and perhaps a touch more updated.

Average menu for tex mex but limited options. Tacos, burritos, enchiladas and fajitas. No unique items or specials to try. Overpriced for what you get. Too much salt on items.

I took my girlfriend here for a date and while the food was decent, it wasn't a romantic setting. This would be good for a family or group get togethers (i.e. happy hour), but I wouldn't suggest it for a date.

The food was good and the wait was not bad at all. Using OpenTable worked just as advertised. We arrived at our designated time and were seated within 5 min. The food was good and priced appropriately. The service was attentive and the experience was good.
