   Food was excellent. Nice looking restaurant but they stuck us in a little cave near the restrooms even though the place was less than half full and we had a reservation. Wait staff forgot about us often.

   We hadn't been to Posa in a while and were quite pleased by the quality of the food. The portions were appropriately sized and very attractively presented. The service was a bit slow, but not to the point where it interfered with our experience. Our waitress was apologetic for the delays and very professional overall. Prices aren't cheap, but are generally in line with what we would expect from a high-end Italian restaurant in our area. The decor is attractive and the atmosphere lively. My only complaint was that the liveliness came with too high a noise level - to the point where it was sometimes difficult to carry on a conversation even between just the two of us. A large table would have been unworkable. The owner should look into installing noise dampening materials, perhaps in the ceiling, which is currently corrugated metal that reflects sound.

   Third time that my wife and I have dined at Posa. All three times have been outstanding.

   If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Posa Ristorante & Vineria is simply the best restaurant in the U.S. I have never found another place that comes close to the excellence they deliver—it’s truly a must-go! From the moment you step inside, you’re transported to an atmosphere of warmth, passion, and authenticity. But the real magic? It’s in the food. Every dish is crafted with the utmost attention to detail, and the flavors are nothing short of spectacular. The absolute highlight for me is the lasagna—a masterpiece that instantly takes me to Positano, Italy, one of the most breathtaking places on earth. The richness, the layers, the delicate balance of flavors—it’s pure perfection and a love letter to true Italian cuisine. What makes the experience even more extraordinary is Chef Massimo and his incredible team. His passion, expertise, and warm hospitality elevate the restaurant to another level.    This is a gem in Ridgefield! We’ve been multiple times and have never been disappointed. The service is extremely attentive without being intrusive and the food is always excellent. We had cacio e pepe and the shrimp ravioli which were both served hot and were delicious. I can’t say enough about how good this restaurant is! Bravo!!

   Posa is certainly a diamond in the rough. It is tucked away behind a strip mall and looks so pretty as you come upon the entrance. Inside it is warm and inviting. We went on a Monday evening, and never expected it to be busy, but it was. As more and more people came in, the noisier it became. Thankfully, the host was gracious and methodical is seating customers, so we never had anyone right on top of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. They make their own pasta every morning, so it is obvious a lot of effort goes into each plated dish. The wine list is amazing, with bottles from many different regions ranging from $50 to $1700. The service left a bit to be desired - I believe they were understaffed, perhaps not planning for many customers. Our waiter, although nice as can be, was a little confused about our order and we had to wait quite a while for our drink order to be taken. All that said, we will definitely go back and recommend to others because the food was THAT good. And I am confident their service will improve.
