   So many delicious items to choose from on their menu, I will always make it a point to dine at Ports of Italy when I am in the area of either of their two restaurants.

   A bit expensive, but well worth it. Service was excellent and the food was outstanding. This is our go-to restaurant for special occasions. Only downside was the on-line reservation system. I received a confirmation email but they didn’t have our reservation. Once I showed them my confirmation, we were seated within a couple minutes.

   Ports of Italy is one of our favorite dining venues. They never disappoint and this time was not exception. My veal and mortadella ravioli was outstanding as one of my husband's Bolognese. Looking forward to returning when they reopen next spring.

   Service was slow, many of us going to a concert that night but we waited for a while, had to ask for water and waited about 15 minutes after being seated if we wanted a drink (that's when we asked for water.) Otherwise, outstanding.

   First time dining at this restaurant. We had an early reservation for dinner prior to attending a performance. The restaurant staff was great for making sure we would be able to leave at a particular time. I appreciate good food, and thought the food was quite good. Also, it was served nice and hot which is important to us. One of the salad specials was a seafood salad -- it was wonderful! Only complaint was having to wait a little too long before someone arrived at our table to take drink orders. After that, all was prompt. Certainly would go back for some great italian f

   As a self proclaimed food snob and general cynic of tourist town restaurants, I was truly impressed with every dish we had delivered to our table. The service was excellent, the food high caliber and plentiful. A lot of special touches at this lovely spot. The decor could use some decorator magic but the food more then made up for it. Prices super reasonable too!Would definitely look forward to coming back here!

   We live near the Boothbay Harbor area and had never tried Ports of Italy. We were pleasantly surprised. The decor and ambiance were nothing to rave about but the food was excellent. Josh our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. Truffle season is in bloom so we splurged on the half portion risotto with white truffles and it was terrific. Pasta (all house made) was excellent and a terrific wine list. The only disappointment was the fennel salad, it needed seasoning and some vinegar or more citrus to brighten the flavors. They are closed for the winter, but will def try again in the spring, before the tourists descend!

    We made a quick trip to Boothbay Harbor specifically to try out Ports of Italy and were not disappointed. The food and service was great!
