   Easy to book via OpenTable. We were greeted by staff on arrival who were very welcoming. Service and food were excellent. We also got the happy hour prices. Staff were great at adapting meals for our table. Excellent evening. Would highly recommend.

   Fantástico, verdadera comida italiana y la calidad de su pasta es sumamente exquisita. Nos llevamos no solamente una cena deliciosa sino también la amabilidad y la atención por parte de sumamente personal. Gracias por tan bonita experiencia.

   Always enjoy our visit to Portofino‘s. Service is good. Food is good. Price is reasonable.

   a surprisingly quiet sitting resulted in the two of us being the only ones left there from 8:30 onwards. From that moment on the staff’s goal seemed to be to get us to leave as quickly as possible. Never felt so unwelcome won’t be going back.

   Wonderful dinner. Food and service excellent and prices very good. Under €120 for 4 that included 2 bottles of excellent Italian wine!

   From the time we arrived, we should have left. a table stuck in a corner, horrible food and substandard service..there are so many good restaurants in the Old Town and we should have walked a little farther to have good food. Very disappointing.

   Made reservation on Open Table & received email confirmation immediately. Arrived at restaurant with 6 guests & closed, no signage. I had tried to call the restaurant to make reservation but no answer, upon realizing that reservations are made through Open Table which I then did. I did a review a couple of weeks ago that the sane thing happened to another Open Table booking. Beware! Other guests who made reservations were standing with us. Cannot be co-incident or sudden sickness as not first time. If closed for holiday someone needs to take responsibility & change opening hours on Open Table accordingly! Not a good impression for sure.

   Booking was made and confirmed for 17/2/25. Arrived just prior to booked time of 7.30 pm to find the place in darkness. Tried calling - no response. As the booking was for my husbands 65th birthday, extremely annoyed that no one contacted us. Eventually found someone at the restaurant 2 days later - apparantly a problem with "pipes". When I asked the man in there why no one contacted us, he merely shrugged his shoulders and was extremely unhelpful. We have dined at Portofinos several times over the years which is why we chose it for a special occasion. This is not the service I expect from a restaurant like this.

    Booked a table online, confirmed table, turned up at 7pm with no cancellation notice just a note on the door saying closed Monday and Tuesday… walking past Tuesday and it’s open again, management need to get their act together
