   We stopped by after the movies on Saturday night for a bite. We sat down and we were the only ones in the room who h was cold as if they turned off the heat before closing. We placed our order and were served our salad and a bread basket. The bread was cold,hard and stale. When the salad was served we asked for it to be split which it was not but that was not that big of a deal but a decent restaurant would have done that. There was not any pepper or cheese on the table and the waitress was not to be found so I needed to go scavenging other tables for the pepper and cheese. This left me cold and underserved. The salad was nothing to comment on The food came out and I ordered chicken masala and it was quite good. My wife ordered veal picata and while the flavor of the sauce was quite good the artichoke hearts where hard and under cook. The veal was of very poor quality Struggles to cut the meat. A steak knife would have worked better but then again why eat veal like this. Veal is to be tender and cut and cheese easily. Not worth 20.00 at all I eat out 3 to 5 times a week and must say I was not impressed at all

   It took over two hours to get appetizers and pasta. There were only three other tables in the restaurant. We walked in at 7:30 and didn’t leave until 9:30 and that was with skipping dessert!

   It was a mediocre meal with nothing really inspiring, except maybe the calamari arrabbiata. Otherwise, all the staple items are on the menu in run of the mill style. The value is good and the food is just alright. I got the sense it relies more on its pizza and takeout business than the dining room. There is no real decor to it. The staff is nice however. So, it’s fine for a basic quick meal but there is nothing special that will make you want to return.
