   The restaurant had a nice vibe to it.. the food was ok .. cornbread and the butter was yummy .. burnt ends were good.. steak was a little over medium and the short ribs and grits needed some salt ..

   Stellar food! The chicken and waffles with hot honey butter, and the lemon blueberry pancakes are a must try! Service was a little slow, but overall would recommend.

   We started with the iron skillet cinnamon roll - decadent and awesome taste at the same time. A must share, mouth watering treat. The avocado toast had a lot of avocado on a thick slice of toast that could also be shared. While the service was great, we have to give a shout out to Bryan, the manager. He made sure everything was going perfect, made a very good bourbon Bloody Mary, and filled us in on everything Louisville and downtown. He is very personable and energetic about his job.

   We were served water and then didn’t see our server for over 15 minutes. When our appetizer arrived, there were no plates the cornbread with. When I asked the person who brought the appetizer for plates, he said I had to ask the server. I ended up having to get up and ask a server for another section for plates. Our server came by once after our food arrived and that was it. The food was decent, but service was terrible, would definitely not go back.

   We had a delicious meal and wonderful service. Kira took the best care of us! Their espresso martini is outstanding!

   Food was really good and entrees had larger portions. Corn bread and brussel sprouts were delicious. I had the ribeye and that was great too

   Made a reservation for Saturday brunch. Seated immediately, we ordered a Bloody Mary, the signature old fashioned, Mac & cheese, burnt ends, shrimp & grits. Everything was excellent, no notes.
