   In general good, without being too much to write home about. We had the deli sandwiches, which in themselves were fine/copious – but the accompanying "salad" was basically a leaf and 4 tomatoes; some more imaginative work here would set up the main items much better. The service was attentive, although a tad reactive rather than proactive at times. This eatery is good enough to come back to, but in respect of a few specfics it could up its game a bit.

   Usual high standard, surprised it wasn't busier considering it was Boxing Day. Need to look at the drop in temperature every time the main door opens as it gets quite chilly near the door when a large group of people or a 'buggy' enter.

   As we had 7 dinners we were asked to pre order our food. We arrived a little early and we're accommodated straight away. Drinks selection was good, especially soft drinks for the 3 children in the party. Food arrived swiftly and everyone loved what they'd ordered. Very tasty food! We will definitely be coming again.

   This is one of my favourite restaurants in Lichfield, the menu changes every season so there is always new and exciting food to try! Every meal I've eaten there has been to an exceptional standard, the staff are very friendly and it's lovely to go somewhere and see the owner actually taking orders and making drinks himself! Lovely atmosphere, and all locally sourced produce, would recommend if you're looking for something original and trendy!

   The food was great for the adults, but the children's choice was unrealistic to give them smaller adult portions. It became hard work to get the children to eat some of their food. May I recommend that you look at faro Lounge, red carpet cinema children's menu, or some of the school menus that are on line. We want our children to have a wider choice than chicken nugget and chips when we eat out, but want the food seasoning, taste and texture to be realistic to what they would eat happily. This unfortunately took away from an otherwise great experience.

   We had a gorgeous lunch. Lovely choice in Christmas menu but I went for the fish and chips and they were devine. Enormous piece of crispy battered cod and homemade chips with all the trimmings. My mom had the lamb on bubble and squeak, devine flavours and sauce. Trendy but friendly and good value for the quality and quantity of food. Friendly service do all round excellent.
