   We had a really enjoyable experience at Pomodoro. Our meals were outstanding. I had the pollo gusto and it may have been the best chicken I’ve ever had in San Diego. My husband had the cioppino and he said it was prepared perfectly. The service was excellent. Each staff member was kind and professional. The vibe in the restaurant is comfortable and low key. We loved it!

   The food was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere on the patio was lively. We had a large group of twelve, and the we were able to order and receive our drinks, appetizers, and main course dishes without a wait. Our waiter had great recommendations for the specialties of the restaurant, and I have to say, the desserts were so good! I highly recommend Pomodoro if you are anywhere near the Point Loma area!

   Pomodoro is my favorite restaurant in San Diego. I always, always come here when I visit from Virginia (2-3x a year) and bring friends and co-workers to introduce them to this local's gem. It's a small, family-run Italian restaurant with amazing food, ingredients, and service. I have been coming here for over ten years and I am never disappointed. I've been at various times of day, week, year, and it's always consistent and delicious. My favorite is the bolognese, caesar salad, and tiramisu. Noms. In a charming part of town where you can take a walk and get a few desserts or other things while here. Parking is street for free and never a problem along the block.

   Love! Haven’t been here in a long time but returned and had a wonderful meal. Eggplant, lamb ossobuco and pappardelle, pork ossobuco and risotto and angel hair pasta were delicious. Along with a bottle of Chianti and good conversation, we enjoyed a wonderful evening. We will return very soon:)

   This was a recommendation, and it turned out to be a great one! Super yummy and great service from our Italian server. 🇮🇹 The only thing I’d say, is that it was a tiny bit too dim in the upstairs seating area. I saw lots of folks turning on their phone lights to see the menu. Maybe add small candles to each table…?

   Pomodoro is the place we go when we want to eat exceptionally good Italian food. We moved away for some time and moved back recently. We wanted to return to Pomodoro for the great taste they always offered. We were disappointed this time. The service staff was overwhelmed. My wife's pasta tasted not good at all. I guess it was the quality of tomato or tomato paste in the pasta. We couldn't even talk to our server about the food because he was constantly running and too busy to see us and talk to us. Not his fault, though. It is a managerial issue. We want to visit them again in the future and change this feedback.

    Love the vibe in this restaurant feels like you’re in Italy. The salmon, arugula salad is my favorite. I’ve also had the mushroom ravioli, which are delicious.
