Polpettina is a casual Italian restaurant located in Larchmont, New York. Polpettina translates to "little meatball" in Italian, and it is from this humble dish that this Italian bistro draws its inspiration. It sources many ingredients locally and also makes sure that the operation of the restaurant is as green as possible. For instance, many of the wood panels along the walls were constructed from repurposed barn wood and other recycled materials. There are several Italian classics on the Polpettina menu. Unique creations include the black mission fig pizza with pancetta, goat cheese, arugula, pesto and truffle honey. We come here often for some of out favorites -- they used to make great grilled octopus but that's not always available. Wine list changes haven't been favorable but this is awlays a fun place to go for tasty pizzas and good salads, and the meatballs, of course. GREAT falafel, too.
