Nestled in downtown Los Gatos, Polenteria serves up Italian cuisine, that is Celiac safe.
We are a small 22 seat restaurant, that is very intimate. With a European feel, many of our guests proclaim that they have been whisked away to Italy or France. We love that!

Many accolades from the SF Chronicle, and the Mercury News as well as Eater SF hail Chef Yvonne and her team at Polenteria for being on the cutting edge of the Gluten Free Movement, and more importantly providing a safe space for those with Celiac to dine without hesitation.

We are a small restaurant and therefore we do have a strict no show- cancellation policy. we need 24 hours or more. Please be considerate of this.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The entryway is in a parking lot but once you find it, you won't be disappointed. Although it's a very small space with probably no more than about 10 tables, the food and service are excellent and it even has a full bar. You'll definitely need reservations.

Delicious restaurant that is gluten-free too! I intended on trying a pasta dish but ended up getting their polenta dish. It was AMAZING - there was a savory/umami broth on top of the polenta with house-made sausage and mushrooms stewed in rosemary. Highly recommend!

Delicious drinks and food and Norma is a delight! Such a cozy and intimate setting.. love this place. It is such an unusual find .. perfect comfort food and drink you enjoy like you are being entertained in someone’s home!

Excellent gluten free dining. The choices for brunch were outstanding. The service was provided by just a limited staff, but was excellent!

Food and drinks were delicious and Norma was amazing. The only issue was a very loud group of ladies .. hard to avoid in such an intimate setting. Also. seeing Kenny behind the bar was an added bonus!

I love the food here. I never feel bad after eating here. The food is clean, thoughtful, and delightful. The owner made a birthday cake for me and I kid you not I ate the whole thing, which I never do because gluten kills me, but this is 100% gluten-free, which means more cake for me. Thank you for such a happy birthday!
