Very small portions relative to the high prices - lobster roll was tiny as was the focaccia

Dinner at Point Seven in Midtown and… wow. This place is effortlessly on point. The vibe? Sleek, vibrant, and modern — think moody lighting, buzzing after-work crowd, and chic interiors that make you feel like you should be sipping something fancy (so I did). Started with the butter lettuce — light, crisp, and plated like a work of art. Then came the Faroe Island salmon which stole the show: perfectly cooked, gorgeously presented, and packed with flavor. You can see the care in every detail. Service? Absolutely flawless. Friendly but refined, never rushed, and totally aligned with that elevated dining flow you hope for in NYC. Great acoustics too — lively without being loud, perfect for people-watching or enjoying a moment to yourself. Whether you’re dining solo, entertaining out-of-towners, or just craving a next-level meal in Midtown, Point Seven delivers. Already looking forward to going back. #PointSeven #NYCeats #ManhattanRestaurants #MidtownDining #SoloDining #FoodieNYC #RestaurantVibes #NYCfoodscene #EatWellTravelOften

As usual some of the best food in the Grand Central area. A little pricey but well worth it. Service and food preparations were top notch. The salads and appetizer portions are HUGE. Suggest you share these to save apetite for the mains that are generous size but not oversized like the salads and appetizers.

Point Seven is one of my favorite places to go. The proportions of food is perfect. Quality over quantity. Drinks are amazing and they have a great selection of sake’s. Chef Franklin is one of my favorite chefs.

We had a very lovely evening celebrating recent birthdays of two of the three of us. The food was fabulous, of special note: the anchovy toast, unrolled tuna sushi and crab pasta with uni - although all of the dishes were inventive and presented an explosion of flavors. The cocktails were superb and they had a special Belgian beer available as well. We always hope to sit upstairs, away from the busy bar area, but the entire upstairs dining area was reserved for a private event. The maitre d’, Miguel, had noticed my reservation earlier in the day and knowing my preference to sit in the quieter room, planned ahead to save a table for us in the downstairs space that would be the most quiet. What a wonderful host!
