   Plate Italiano Moderno is an excellent restaurant. This is always one of our top choices in Overland Park / Leawood. The service is always excellent. The food is very good. Highly recommended.

   Lovely restaurant and atmosphere for any occasion. Service was exceptional. This is not our first visit, like Plate enough to return. On this visit the food quality was mixed. Started with a Caesar salad, which was served as a stalk of romaine, which was a bit tough, dressing and flavors good. Entrees included the Bolognese, always a favorite and good, plus the Veal Al Limone, was disappointed. The Veal was chewy, dish lacked flavor. Couldn't, didn't want to finish the dinner. Have enjoyed veal in other restaurants with better results. Will return, but likely won't venture out past the tried and true favorites, pasta, meatballs, pizza.

   Our experience at Plate was wonderful. We were greeted and served promptly. My friend's and my entrees were delicious. For dessert we shared the doughnuts with limoncello sauce, and they were so yummy. We will definitely return.

   My pappardelle came out lukewarm and nothing distinctive about the flavor. Waiter forgot my wine and I couldn’t get his attention because he was chatting away with the restaurant manager in the kitchen for an inordinate amount of time. It was comped at least for the glass. Overall, I was not impressed.

   The hostesses were welcoming and so sweet! Our waiter Drake was top notch in his service and knowledge of the food and wine menu. The beverages were Devine. My friend and I shared the veal, unfortunately it was a rough and chewy cut. The manager offered a new plate but we decided to share the meatballs which were delicious!

   Wonderful evening at the chic and modern Plate Restaurant in Leawood. Great atmosphere, very attentive service and a terrific kitchen delivering delicious well presented meals. Plate is my favorite dining experience in Leawood!

    This was our second visit recently with great service, food was wonderful, very good service. even with a mistaken order which was rectified quickly. We experienced a delicious and memorable meal with out-of-town guests. We are looking forward to our next meal at this distinctive restaurant!
