   Great food, great staff and service. We've went to 2 of the PLANTA's in the DC area. both were great.

   Their reservation system is a mess. They merge Resy with Open Table. They took my Open Table reservation, added three Resy reservations which I had to cancel, and then cancelled my Open Table reservation. They are unapologetic about their ineptitude.

   The food was amazing. I would go there everyday if I lived here. Soba noodles with steak was our favorite. The dumplings were fabulous summer rolls great. High flavor great vibe

   Greeted warmly and seated immediately even though I was early and my dining partner hadn’t arrived. Server (Rebecca) gave excellent recommendations. Bang bang broccoli was good and crispy but wish it was served warm or hot not cold. Companion enjoyed ahi watermelon. Sweet potato dish was a little mushy but tasty. Dessert - matcha cheesecake and chocolate brownie were excellent

   Sushi was great. All three entrées were not; mine was also delivered 20 minutes after my group. Staff was great but they dealt with disruptive patron and the ejection involved the chef so hence the delay. Not sure if that meant my food was simply delayed or rushed but it was not good. They did comp my sandwich after I shared that it wasn’t good. Bathroom door was difficult to close and towels were not in the dispenser. Walking back and forth to the bathroom, there was a random towel on a cabinet and it just told the story of my less-than-ideal experience.
