   The restaurant was closed due to construction but continued to take reservations through open table. We drove 20 minutes only to realize that the restaurant was closed and our reservation was useless. A professional restaurant of good quality would not ha e this lapse.

   Good day "Anonymous", The restaurant is not "Closed" due to construction. We are currently Open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Tuesday to Saturday with coffee, fresh pastry and lunch service. There was a system problem with your reservation as we have all our platforms up to date with the correct information and no other customes found themselves in this situation.    Tiny spot, only a few seats. Food was local and prepared well and creatively. Service was extremely accommodating to our requests.

   Main street in Magog under huge construction; decided to still try a restaurant in advance for Father’s day...well, restaurant has 20 seats, the staff is barely under 25, very sweet but no real experience. Wine by the glass not served with the bottles at the table. I asked for ground pepper; the young Chef came for me, didn’t ask the others & left.....Prices are too expensive for that tiny bistro. Owner came in from his other restaurant down the street, not even a “how’s the meal ?”... music didn’t fit the place whatsoever...i told the staff when i left, they didn’t know what to answer.... Overall, good food but too expensive for that place; we got dressed up for nothing.....waitress had wrinkled shirt!!! Won’t go back....

   Sorry not to have met your expectations. Our young chef Samuel is "top" quality and is followed closely by the chef owner Eric Garand. Our ingredients are "Local" and of high quality. We prepare almost everything ourselves using raw ingredients. We are currently hiring a waiter/waitress, unfortunately, when you visited this position was not filled, that is why you noticed these mishaps. We promise a top notch experience as of today! The background music is always a "tough" subject Most love it.

   Repas réchauffé par le serveur lui-même. Risotto beaucoup trop gras et trop de fromage. Cuisine complètement différente d’avant quand c’était chez eux. Ceci n’est pas de la gastronomie. Ça ne vaut pas du tout le prix.

   Service 5*, le serveur connait très bien le menu ainsi que les vins et les agencements avec la nourriture, La nourriture est excellente & est faite majoritairement avec des produits québécois. Mon copain et moi avons adoré

   La selection de vins au verre était limitée à un Chardonnay de Bourgogne en tout et pour tout, et plutôt bizarre au goût et très trouble. A 15$ pour un petit verre, plutôt décevant. Par contre le menu de St-Valentin, à 50$ le couvert pour 4 services était bien. Pour l'entrée de pétoncles, une seule pétoncle en fait, sans doute parce qu'il n'y en avait plus car nos voisins arrivées plus tôt en ont eu 2. Bizarre que le serveur n'ait rien dit.

L'expérience du Plaisir Gourmand est tout à fait différente le reste de l'année et le choix de vins en dégustation abondant normalement.     Superbe expérience culinaire à Magog, quelle belle découverte un soir de tempête! Accueil chaleureux, carte courte composée de produits presqu'entièrement locaux, plats exécutés avec maîtrise, et une carte des vins qui vaut le détour. Le risotto champignons, crevettes et cheddar était particulièrement réussi. Un jeune chef qui a de l'avenir! A noter la possibilité de goûter à petit prix de grands vins servis en portions d'1/3 de verre, une façon plus économique de découvrir de beaux flacons. Nous reviendrons!
