Himmel�s in Chicago offers an eclectic mix of German and Italian food, both of which are popular in the city. This hybrid�s menu includes Roman pizza, which is produced from a wood-burning oven and is highly recommended. Starters include fried calamari and bruschetta as well as bratwurst. The main courses are also split between the two cuisines and include homemade sp�tzle and spaghetti and meatballs as well as chicken parmigiano and schnitzel. There are supper club events and live music on Thursdays and Fridays at Himmels, which has a full bar. There is also an outside patio area when the weather is good. The warm neighborhood vibe and casual atmosphere makes this a good choice for families and groups.
