   This was my first time in this relatively new restaurant. I liked everything. Great Turkish and Lebanese food. AUTHENTIC! I will definitely come back when I visit my son in New Orleans next time

   Appetizer platter is the way to go. For entree, the lamb chops were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Extremely tender. No knife necessary. Iskender was wonderfully seasoned. Katmer for dessert was divine. I’ll be back!

   Authentic Turkish “kebap” food is prepared in this cheerful, open-kitchen, neighborhood restaurant. We had “Iskender kebap”, a platter of shaved roasted lamb on a bed of pita soaked in tomato sauce, and yogurt on the side. This was served with a salad plate including an excellent hummus drizzled with fine olive oil, chopped “shepherd” salad, pickled red cabbage and thinly sliced onions; as well as a side plate of authentic Turkish bulgur pilav. For dessert, I highly recommend “künefe” - a sweet concoction of shredded pastry layers sandwiching mozzarella cheese, topped with chopped pistachios and soaked in a sugar syrup (with a little extra on the side). This preparation is baked so the cheese melts and stretches as you take a forkful. Turkish coffee and brewed tea are also available. Service was courteous and the restaurant was clean and quiet. Excellent value for delicious food!

   You would be hard pressed to find more authentic Turkish cuisine in New Orleans. I felt like I was back in Izmir.

   We loved everything about this restaurant! The food was fresh and delicious. All of the staff were prompt and friendly. I will definitely eat here again when I’m in New Orleans!

   More of a casual ambiance than expected from the website, however the staff were very attentive and we felt very welcomed. The appetizer platter and entrees were on par or better than other local favorites. The price was a great value as well. Definitely will return in the near future.

    Some things really good, like falafel, some a bit bland like hummus. Shawarma a bit fatty, particularly the chicken which was surprising. Lighting a bit bright for evening. Service was really excellent, the attention shown greatly reminded me of time spent in Istanbul. Good for a quick bite, but hoped for a more romantic, special meal.
