About this restaurant

  • Charming
  • Neighborhood gem
  • Great for outdoor dining
PISTACHE is a Parisian-style French bistro with a Mediterranean twist. It serves simple, delicious meals made with fresh, local and imported products. It seats 180 people and is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
Prices are moderate and the recipes nutritionally healthy. Service is casual and efficient. The atmosphere is upbeat with a definite European flair. The interior is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau, which defined most brasseries and bistros opened in 1920"s Paris. It boasts cozy seating with numerous red leather banquettes, a full bar and giant antique mirrors. The restaurant has a feel of "Always been there". It is classic, retro-modern and sophisticated but unpretentious.
The outdoor patio overlooks Centennial Park, the Fountains and the Intracoastal Waterway. It is shaded with overhead awning and seats 30 people in a Riviera-like setting.

Unfortunately the hamburger was overdone. The request was for medium rare but the result was WELL done. A big disappointment but restitution was made. A limited menu for lunch. Very few salads. Shrimp salad on brioche was just ok. Will not be returning for lunch

We’ve enjoyed Pistache several times in the past but today was something of a disappointment. The appetizers were good, but not great as were the entrees. The desserts were not good. When our server brought out a bread basket and announced “this is on the house” I was taken aback, when I pulled back the cover to find a couple of slices of, I think it was supposed to be banana bread, and some undistinguishable pastry - all past its prime. This is supposed to be a French bistro - what happened to a fresh baguette? The prix fixe of $85.00 plus 20% tip is roughly double what the Easter Brunch was worth.

Easter Brunch at Pistache French Bistro – 3 Stars We visited Pistache French Bistro in West Palm Beach for their Easter brunch and left with mixed feelings. While the service was solid (4/5 stars) and the ambiance was generally nice, a few letdowns kept the experience from being memorable. The food presentation was lovely across the board. Standout dishes included the lamb and the seafood stew, which earned four stars for flavor and execution. The beet salad was another pleasant surprise—fresh and well-balanced. On the flip side, the steak frites came in at just three stars—appropriately cooked, but nothing remarkable. The French onion soup was underwhelming (2 stars), and unfortunately, the desserts didn’t leave a sweet impression either (2 stars). One of the biggest disappointments was the lack of Easter atmosphere—no seasonal decor, no festive touches. It made the prix fixe menu feel more like a formality than a celebration, which was a shame given the occasion. Overall, Pistache has potential and a great location, but we expected a bit more magic for a holiday brunch.

The food was excellent, as usual, but the price for the pasta special was outrageous for basically macaroni with a dash of cheese and truffle. The truffle was obscure otherwise best beef salad in South Florida and eating outside. The Noyes level was very tolerable.

We had a delightful dining experience; a little noisy in the beginning of the meal, which seemed to quiet down after happy hour ended. We were a party of 5 and all dishes were served beautifully and were delicious! The server was personable- he couldn’t find one dish to criticize- very cute! We will certainly return and bring friends to enjoy the dining experience
