   We went to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday the table was not set up when we arrived. The restaurant was empty so no excuse on why it was not set. We ordered a few appetizers and they all came out at different times so we all wear eating at different times. And when we finished the appetizers I had to personally clean up the dishes because no one came back to take them away. However she did come back and take more drink orders and when she brought them she left all the empty glasses on the table so again I cleared them up. Then we got the food at different times some people were already done eating when the last order finally came out to us. Overall it was the worst meal we had from the time we walked in to the time we left very unhappy with the restaurant

   Great new find for me. I was looking for a restaurant with German food and this popped up. It only has a few German options and a lot of other steak and seafood options as well. The restaurant is located on a beautiful body of water with a great patio. The inside (which is huge) is tastefully decorated and every table has a white tablecloth, a very nice and all too rare occurrence. I had a glass of Bex German Riesling which was very nice and very reasonably priced. For dinner I had the Sauerbraten which came with potato pancakes, red cabbage and some apple sauce. It was absolutely delicious!! In fact I can’t wait to return. I’m spreading the word about how wonderful the Pine Grove Inn is. The owner was extremely personable and welcoming.

   It was just horrible all around! Bad service, bad food!! This place should definitely not be on Open Table!!

   They are under new management. Went out of their way to provide good service. I would definitely return

   Food was meh . Service terrible. Outdated smelly seating area. And 1/2 of menu was unavailable.

   Had the Schnitzel. The veal was so chewy and tough. Waste of money. Wife asked for more gravy. It took them so long to bring it she was actually done eating. Service was horrible. Hardly anybody there and took then forever to get us drinks and food took even longer. Never going back . Highly recommend not to go there.

   Sauerbraten was wonderful along with the draft German beer. Quiet room overlooking the water great for conversation without having to speak loudly. No one rushes you pick you menu choice or clear your plates before you are finished. Plan to go back soon.

   This restaurant used to be an icon. My last two visits the place was empty, it was 65 degrees. The beet salad was fresh. The stroganoff which is supposed to be a signature meal was mostly mushrooms and little meat, no gravy and luke warm. I didn't even stay for dessert seeing I was very disappointed. If a restaurant can not keep its business flowing, they shouldn't be open. Its a shame as this place is on the water.
