   One of the worst meals we've ever had. Everything was horribly overcooked, from our salmon, to the veal, to the angel hair pasta, to the potatoes. A waste of money.

   The view is wonderful of the Mississippi but the room/hotel itself is severely lost in the 1970's. And no its not retro-chic. Lighting was bright, furnishings...well, lets not go there. That being said the service at the bar and restaurant was very attentive. They were really working hard. The food is good......I had the duck and it was very good. The grits...with a touch of what smoked gouda was great. The brussel sprouts needed a few more minutes in the pan. Its just the atmosphere with that great view could be fixed up and draw some more people. We'd go again for the service and food.

   We made reservations online and arrived at the appointed time. A server passed by us and told us to “sit anywhere”. We found a table and our waiter arrived promptly. He was attentive and provided good service. The appetizer was very bland and the salad was, let’s just say it wasn’t up to the caliber of the appetizer. The entrees (filet and the duck) were both surprisingly well prepared and tasty. Overall, the restaurant is suppose to be casual/fine dining and it’s not even close. The service was good and the location offers a lovely view but the food isn’t worth the trip.

   Food was absolutely outstanding. Service was terrible, on every level lol, but that does not discredit the restaurant. The duck breast was fantastic! Filet, great! Pecan Pie with ice cream was the best I have ever had! Ribeye, decent but the rest was wonderful. Even my daughters fries with her chicken had a seasoning on them that made us all continuously steal them from her

   Great food selection, beautiful view, the kitchen was slow we was there for a birthday dinner half of party was done eating before everyone’s food came out. I would do again just not with a group .

   We each ordered the fried chicken dinner. The chicken was almost black and it was pink inside. It was like it had been cooked at a very high temperature. The skin/crust was extremely garlicky. I showed the under cooked chicken to our waitress and she said she would let the kitchen know, but no one offered any kind of discount, nor an apology. The waitress was very attentive, but the food was horrible. I would never eat there again.

    Outstanding brunch including shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles. Beautiful view from the dining room. Highly recommend.
