Maine’s fresh flavors are our culinary focus and the Pilot House provides the best of what the Midcoast region has to offer – all with creative, healthy and delicious results. The Pilot House celebrates and updates regional American heirloom recipes. We take great pride in supporting local and regional farmers, lobstermen, fishermen, cheesemakers, dairy farmers, cattle ranchers and producers. Great food. We were on the meal plan from the resort so price wasn't an issue. More variety on the menu would be nice. Altering any dish seems to be an issue.

Scallops and steak were excellent. We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing service as well due to the opposite experience downstairs at the pub.

our dinner of scallops on potatoes with corn puree was delicious. The scallops were cooked perfectly, a tricky skill for most. The view was to die for, as usual. We were on a boat in the harbor for the night, so came ashore for a dinner. Only down side was the very small active children beside us. Kind of detracted from the ambiance. Other than that, it was a very positive experience.

We had a great seat with a panoramic view of the ocean. Food was also good- not only seafood, but veggies were also fresh.

The food was quite good (steak, lobster). A caprese salad used a non-ripe tomato -- the only downside. Service was excellent. the view out over water and of the sunset was lovely. It was rather quiet dining with a reservation at 6 PM, and the room virtually empty by 7:30 -- but we would definitely come here again. Good cocktail too!

We had a credit card nightmare when splitting the check with friends. Had to run cards three times because of incorrect billing. Took a half hour
