Pied à Terre is one of London’s longest standing Michelin restaurants, celebrating its 30th year in 2021. Offering optional Tasting Menus including vegetarian and vegan, lunch menu and full wine list.

With its tasteful cracked-glass feature, and cosily formal decor, this is a perfect setting for têtes-à-têtes, business-related or otherwise. Pied à Terre radiates both style and approachability.

The exceptional gourmet food is meticulously prepared with heart and passion by Head Chef Asimakis Chaniotis using ingredients sourced directly from small, independent suppliers who live and breathe quality.

Apart from the bargain set lunch (reportedly one of the best value Michelin star lunches in London), prices are reassuringly top-end, but there’s ample value in a book-sized wine list, with “incredibly helpful” sommeliers.

With only 8 seats available per sitting, enjoy Head Chef Guillermo’s innovative menu prepared right before you, and experience the thrills of live cooking in an intimate setting with a unique front-row experience! Introducing Guillermo Guillermo trained at the Alain Ducasse group at The Dorchester under Jocelyn Herland and Christophe Marleix, later working with 3 Michelin star chef Anne-Sophie Pic at the Four Seasons and at notable London venues like Annabel’s and Tavolino Ristorante. His cooking combines bold flavours from his childhood in the Philippines, refined through classical French techniques and enhanced with the finest British seasonal produce. About the menu Showcasing a multi-course tasting menu for £95, you will love everything from the Salmon Kinilaw with Ginger Vinegar Dressing, Lamb Caldereta Pithivier with Pequeillos Pomme Purée and Lamb Jus, and Guillermo’s gorgeous Ginger Stem Leche Flan. An optional wine pairing is also available, alongside our full wine list on the drinks menu.     Exquisite flavours in beautifully crafted food. Each course of the tasting menu was outstanding and the wine pairings matched perfectly. We love this restaurant for its culinary expertise alongside knowledgeable staff and a warm and unpretentious atmosphere. For us it ranks among London’s best restaurants.

    We had the plant based menu paired with the cocktail flight. Every dish was carefully thought and crafted as one would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant. Service was great and attentive, they also prepared a note since it was our anniversary and went the extra mile when we asked if they had an empty bottle of the wine we ordered to bring home as a memory, finding for us not only one but two of them.

    Absolutely incredible dining experience. We had the 8 course plant based menu. Our favorites: the “tuna” crudo, the celeriac, and the white chocolate cremeux.

    We had a delightful experience at this restaurant. We ate the plant based tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was delicious and the service was attentive without being intrusive. The chef's creations were inventive, delicious and beautifully presented. We rated 4 out of 5 for value for money because what we selected was very pricey. Going again we would pick a la carte. The wine pairing had some great choices, the best beaujolais I have ever tasted, a super white from the Western Cape and a sweet champagne.

    Food: We opted for the 10-course Vegan tasting menu, which began promisingly with a series of intriguing, beautifully presented, and flavorful dishes. However, the experience went down hill with the desserts, which were underwhelming, unpleasant and did not live up to the high standards set by the earlier courses. Ambiance: The ambiance was less than ideal, as I was seated directly in front of a glaring light throughout the two-hour meal, which detracted from the overall experience. My partner kept having to position his head to block the light from my eyes. Service: Unfortunately, the service was the weakest aspect of the evening. It began with our host asking if we’d like to check our coats, despite us being right in front of her and not wearing any. Constant interruptions of our conversation ensued with frequent and redundant inquiries about our experience—each time we finished a course, we were asked how we felt about that dish, sometimes more than once. At the end of the meal, we were even asked to declare our favorite course. Plates were cleared from one diner while the other was eating. A moment of confusion came with a crackers and dip dish, which was served in two parts, ten minutes apart. First, the crackers were brought out, and then the dip followed, with no explanation until we asked. Value: At nearly £300 for two (without alcohol), we did not feel that the meal provided value for money, especially given the lack of consistency in both the food and service. On the walk back to the hotel we passed place after place radiating light and laughter after our gloomy experience in a near empty restaurant.

    Truly exceptional. I've been here once before (July 2024) and I have been raving about the food quality and ambience for months but I was really blown away yesterday by the staff and their energy towards me. My wife and I walked in for lunch after having spent the morning walking around London, a bit dirty and sweaty and we were wearing very modest clothing when we entered (I was wearing puma track bottoms and sneakers). I was worried that they may judge or make me feel awkward or unwelcome (I did change soon after entering however it wasnt a huge upgrade in clothing) but from the moment I stepped in, I was not judged or discriminated against in the slightest. It was an incredible change of energy compared to what I am normally used to at higher end establishments. Thank you for providing me utmost comfort while allowing me to have an incredible dining experience. The food was absolutely to die for (expected as much). My wife and I each got a 10 course taster. I had the vegetarian and she had the regular menu. The ambience was phenomenal (as expected) and the whole dining experience was absolutely perfect. I must say, as a michelin star restaurant there are certain expectations that come with it. Pied à Terre went above and beyond any and all expectations I had yesterday (and having been there previously, yes I had very high expectations). Thank you to whole team for an incredible experience. I eagerly look forward to all of my future visits as I can certainly say everytime I fly back to London, I will be sure to come say hi and grab a bite.

    Very friendly and attentive service. The food was beautifully presented and very imaginative . Excellent sauces and unusual combinations of ingredients The flight of wines was very well chosen and complemented the dishes perfectly. We can thoroughly recommend this restaurant
