   Picture offers a 6 course tasting menu for £45, which compares very favourably to its a la carte menu. The food was excellent with all courses memorable. One of our party was a chef and she was impressed. Wonderful evening wonderful food.

   Picture Marylebone is a real find. I would give it 6 stars for value. Very refined food, very rich and filling, though smaller plates. The mushroom and slow cooked egg 'tart' was exceptional and absolutely a Michelin star dish. The tasting menu is such good value. Especially at lunch. Great, friendly service too. Highly recommended.

   Set lunch tasting menu is fantastic value and faultless. Lovely restaurant, excellent service, and really high quality cooking and ingredients.

   Personal thoughts on experience - 8.5/10 Generally, all cooking methods executed without fault. No meats were dry; neither under nor overcooked. Some interesting twists were attempted, and pulled off, but were not spectacular. Not quite out there enough perhaps, but that is my personal preference for the hints of flavours to be quite apparent. The components of the dish sometimes did complement each other, but not always in harmony, and there was a feeling that they were quite often different segments of a dish, rather than one collective dish. Happened to go on a beautiful day, very sunny, with the light streaming in through the window to our table, which I certainly enjoyed, and made the experience better! Tom, one of the co-founders of Picture, was there on the day, and he was very cheerful, and a bit cheekily humourous, which made the experience more enjoyable for me! Recommended if If you are looking to try some interesting twists on British cuisine, at a pretty relaxed atmosphere.

   My husband and I booked a table without knowing anything about the restaurant and we were both very nicely surprised indeed! The ambience is simple but elegant, the service was well-paced and the staff personable. The food was spectacular, every mouthful was delicious and there are little added extras (free bread & butter, and an amuse bouche) that really set the tone for a wonderful dining experience.
