Too many items on the menu were not available. The wine I selected was not available. The waitress was nice and gracious, which was pretty much the only plus.

There was two huge pools of water when we got there and they were still there when we left. Seems like management let this place fall apart. Not well kept at all. Our server was great but he seemed like the only one working. Also, they were sold out of the Peking Duck and they weren't even busy...

$50 entrees that are just like regular Chinese take out. Completely not worth it, even with a coupon.

Disclaimer : I have eaten at Phillips in NYC a lot .The food in this location is like they received the recipes but don't have the technical skill to prepare it . Duck was dry . Chicken satay was overly breaded and dry.the fried rice was just bad .I have had better food from take out in Brooklyn

I'm very impressed with the entire professional staff and the manager Edgar was phenomenal he was very attentive to our group which consisted of three very hungry and very indecisive couples, our booth was great ,the area we were seated in was perfect, and the food was fabulous. Overall we had an amazing time I'm definately recommending Phillipe to all my friends and family and without a doubt I will be coming again. Thank you for the wonderful experience

This is probably the most expensive Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten at. Yet, there was nothing that justified the high price other than the Beverly Hills location. I was disappointed from the moment I was seating long narrow room where two-top table were separated by less than 2 feet at appropriate spots so that seating can be made for 2, 4, 6 or 8. As a party of two I was sitting closer to the parties on my left and right, than my date across from me. There was no privacy of conversation. The table was small can could barely hold two drinks, or dinner plates and two appetizers. Nevertheless they brought out all 4 dishes and rice that we had order at about the same time. The server seamed annoyed as he stood by the table with our dishes waiting for us to figure out what to do. There was clearly no option, so we told him to take two of the dishes back to the kitchen and keep them warm until we finished a couple of others. This must have upset him because we did not see him again for 20 minutes, long after we finished the two dishes that had fit on the table. So we ate in two shifts. Finally, I found it strange that there were no chop sticks on the tables or offered. Service was not good, so I did not want to waste the little attention we got by asking for them. All in all not a pleasant dinner. I did notice they had some nooks with tables for about 10 people that would have been nice if that was the size of my group.

The atmosphere was awesome, clean, and modernly decorated. Server was helpful in selecting menu items, and food was fresh and tasty. Strong drinks from the bar was a plus also. Celebrated my husband's birthday, he loved it and still talking about P. Chow.

The quality of food is below average and not worth the money. Quantity of each dish is surprisingly small.
