About this restaurant

  • Charming
  • Good for groups
  • Great for happy hour
At Philadelphia Distilling, our distilling team combines craftsmanship, science and skill to create a unique portfolio of premium spirits that rely on the agricultural integrity of authentically sourced grains and botanicals and the finest heritage equipment.

Hand-hammered copper pot stills from the fifth-generation Forsyth family and wooden fermentation vessels from Hall-Woodford, an iconic Philadelphia-based family business, are key points of difference for us—both in their construction value as well as the integrity of the spirits they help us to produce. We continue our batch-by-batch process, creating spirits that celebrate big, bold flavor.

Super neat concept for a pop-up! Was very beautiful, and our server Jasmine was amazing. Jasmine was outgoing and attentive. The drinks were unique and tasted great. The food pairings were also very tasty. The price was great for what was listed, photo attached. The only problem I had was they had this neat part of the experience where you could make your own bitters via a card left on the table. Now, in the info for the experience/booking, it clearly says "1 bottle of bitters for take home per guest." We were told right away that we could only choose one bottle/flavor per table, but if we want 2 bottles, let them know or write it on the card. They gave us 2 bottles as requested yet filled only halfway. When I asked again about this, it became per household (we live separately by the way), and then they decided to send us home with an extra bottle of a different variety cause I was clearly disappointed. Just a shame that you offered this experience it was clearly printed on the website, but you didn't honor it, and each guest had to share a bottle and not each make their own. We also went down to the bar area after and tried the absinthe cocktails, which were great as well. We will be back.

We had reservations for four people and wanted to sit in the sofa area. We were told we could not because the sofas were for large parties only. We were there for about a half hour and another party of four people came in and were seated in the sofa area. Our server did not place our second round of drink order and when we finally did get it, they delivered the wrong drink. We have enjoyed our past experiences at Philadelphia distilling so needless to say this trip was very disappointing

It was way to overpriced. I did not like any of the 4 drinks. Disappointed.

Thank you PD family (John, Jazmine, Josh, Matt) for your kind hospitality as always ! You wear your heart on your sleeves and anyone that walks through the door gets to see the passion behind the hospitality you so generously extend to your guests! The gourgeres and crispy potatoes and wings are ON POINT as always! Please bring back the sunchokes with vinegar and salt! As well as the Japanese sweet potatoes . Looking forward to coming back as always! Be well, LAC

Incredibly-designed space with a view of the distillery works. Sat at the bar and service was exceptional. Drinks were expertly-crafted. The gougères were delicious. The other two food items we had were ok, so I don’t recommend coming here expecting to eat dinner; this is a cocktail bar first and foremost. I will return.
