   great spot in the middle of downtown Miami, this is my second time visiting, the first time was for lunch and this time for dinner. We tried the Crispy octopus, tuna tostada and the pork belly. This is not your regular Mexican place, it's Mexican Seafood and a great one if you are expecting regular tacos this is not your place, if you are up for trying something different and good, then visit Pez especially if you are a seafood lover.

   My visit to PEZ was weird. First of all I tried to call during the day to move the reservation to one hour later and the phone WAS NOT WORKING... Can you believe a restaurant with a non working phone? I had to go to open table after contacting the restaurant via FACEBOOK. The food was absolutely delicious but the place was noisy more like a party type of place than a restaurant. The prices were fair and the service was good. Was 8 pm and a Thursday. There were people at the bar but no body else eating but us. I worked in this industry for more than 15 years and I would have the music less loud and candles in the back to make the place good for everyone.

   Hola! Thanks for your review. We did not know about the faulty phone until you sent us the message; we run VOIP phones and the internet connection was bad. We will take note of the noise level when the DJ is present as well as individual lighting in the back of the dining room. Saludos!

   Hidden jewel in Downtown, Miami! Authentic seafood cuisine from Tijuana at it’s best. Everything from the ambience, the experience, the service, the food, the presentation was five stars. Miami spice menu highly recommended. Appetizer: Elotes Asados Tuétano con Camarón Entree: PorkBelly al Vesuvio Mejillones con Chorizo Dessert Chicatana Chocolate Custard Dulce de Leche Pot de Creme “Try them separate, then mix them together” Pareados con: Vino Entre Tintos 15 Can’t wait to go back!! 5 stars

   Very very very dissapointed. The portion sizes were absurd. The flavors just weren't there. I understand how portion sizes are at high end restaurants. But they are usually delicious. And this place is not even high end. This was not only a third of the portion size of a high end restaurant, but also the flavor just wasn't good enough to justify going back to this place. It feels like a complete ripoff. It feels like they are doing so bad that they are trying to milk the last few customers because they know they won't be around long enough for them to come back. We had a 3 course meal and had to go find food elsewhere afterwards. It was a party of 9 and all 9 of us left hungry. Not one of us said "my stuff was really good". All nine of us just laughed because we thought it was a joke. I support independent restaurants and I understand if they have a bad day. I do not leave bad reviews unless it is a consistently bad place. But this was not a bad day. This felt like a deliberate ripoff

   This restaurant is a hidden gem.. amazing. Tres leches French toast serve only on weekends is from another world. Can not say nothing more, just don’t missed it.

    Amazing food, Sadly it is not so busy when it should be. Maybe the location. But it is an amazing restaurant.
