El chef Jesse Blake refleja su pasión por los productos frescos y se inspira en el trabajo de productores locales para ofrecer una variedad de platillos clásicos, peculiares y divertidos para compartir o disfrutar de manera individual. Para desayunar hay bollería casera y smoothies, entre otros. Durante el fin de semana hay menú brunch y café artesanal para poder tomar un almuerzo a la manera europea. El establecimiento cuenta con una zona cálida con ventanas orientadas hacia el oeste por la que entra el sol de Barrack Street, y otra en la que se pueden celebrar cenas formales. El chef del Petition, Jesse Blake, ha desarrollado un estilo de trabajo único en restaurantes famosos ubicados en lugares como Nueva Zelanda o Melbourne. El chef no dudó en unirse al equipo del Petition.

                                      Had a really great evening here. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive, and the kitchen catered to a combination of vegetarians and food allergies without failing to produce fantastic meals. Highly recommended!

                                      Really good quality food, good service and excellent value. Maybe more vegetarian options. Other than that I loved it.

                                      We walked in and got our table. Service was prompt and friendly. We were told the menu was designed to be a share menu which we liked but then had to ask the staff to bring the food out together as there was a 15 min wait between the first dish brought out and the rest . Also when I asked the girl for a drought beer she brought out a separate menu but had no idea what the beers were which defeats the purpose. Overall the food was very tasty but some of the servings could be slightly bigger compared to the price.. Great place

                                      Lovely lunch here on a public holiday. Delicious food and efficient service. We were given very good descriptions of our wines by our initial waiter. Will return
