   Fantastic food and drinks. The ambience matches the menu level. We had two birthdays for our kids and they gave us a dessert for each of them gratis.

   Chops were fantastic! Was my first time there and the wait staff is amazing about walking you through all of the options on their menu. Exceptional experience!

   The food and service at Perry's was excellent. The discount they offer seniors is very special. It allows us elderly folks enjoy a more than average steak house.

   We just randomly decided to make a reservation and visit for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to our next visit. The waitress was delightful and informative. Thank you!!

   We tried Perry’s for the first time a few months ago, not long after they opened. It was not a great experience, as the pacing and sequence of drinks and courses was off, they were out of the steaks we wanted (ribeye and NY Strip), and the steaks we settled for were brought out very rare (ordered medium). Some of the dishes we had were excellent, however, and we wanted to give them another try. I’m happy to report that almost all the problems we encountered last time were fixed—with one important exception. Seating was prompt (we had a reservation) and the staff was great. Warm bread appeared as soon as we sat down and our drink orders were taken and delivered quickly. My classic gin Martini was perfect, but Valeria’s glass of Champagne was not as cold as it could have been—interesting as Champagne and white wine are generally served much too cold. Our starters were delicious. The BBQ Bacon Wrapped Shrimp were perfectly cooked and extremely flavorful. The scallops were also perfectly cooked and served on a slab of bacon. It was a tasty combo, but needed a little more seasoning. I tried a cocktail called a Bourbon Bloom. It was delicious, refreshing, and not too sweet. The ribeye with peppercorn sauce was perfect—cooked exactly medium, tender, and flavorful even without the sauce. The sauce put it over the top. Unfortunately, the NY Strip came out very rare and had to be taken back to the kitchen not once, but twice, to get it to medium. When we had this problem last time I suggested they invest in an instant read thermometer. Apparently they did not take that advice. Maybe I should bring them one. Overall, this was a very good experience. The service, drinks, and food, were all good to outstanding. Now if they would just get that thermometer…

   Tonight we tried the senior dining and it was amazing. The food is excellent and Mark our server was one on the best ever. The Perry Pork chop was 5 stars as is the steak . Great wine and wonderful desserts.

   We had a delicious Sunday night dinner with the kids at Perry’s in Vernon Hills. Jackie H was an excellent server - highly attentive and great with the kids!
