   A jewel box of a restaurant in Montclair. Great ambiance; service is relaxed and attentive; beautiful craft cocktails; nice wine list and fabulous food. We were there for Christmas Eve. It was warm & cozy - with a nice holiday vibe. We both had the Waygu steak - perfectly prepared with delicious potatoes Au gratin. On a prior visit, I devoured the delicious Dip hamburger. This is one of my very favorite Bay Area restaurants. Can’t wait to return.

   We sat outside, and while that was too cold for me, others in the party insisted on it. The food was all excellent. I had a huge Berkshire pork chop. My wife had the Wagyu steak. Our son had swordfish, and our daughter-in-law had the Romanesco chicken. Everyone agreed that the mains and side dishes were tasty. We also had cocktails and wine, which were also well-prepared. We would all recommend Perle.

   Every course was perfection. Oyster Shooters! Mussels steamed in Pernod cream with sausage meatballs! Fettuccini with clams ! Music and ambiance are 🔥

   Just wonderful! Elegant and divine food. Would be great in NY or Paris and we have it in Montclair!

   Always a great experience. Helen is an amazing server. We always feel like family. The perch was a wonderful addition and the new wagyu steak preparation was outstanding.

   Always a great experience and delicious food. Being more of a fish person , would love to see a fish ( not clams) on menu. Had a special salmon once that was amazing. Although Burger is best in town! My table mates loved the pork chop and repeat it often. Highly recommend . Such a lovely place . Good for special occasion , visit with friends or a tasty bite at the bar.
