   Upon entering People Kitchen we were delighted. The ambiance was romantic, the decor was rustic, the food was DELICIOUS, the staff was friendly and attentive. The overall experience was one of the best we have ever have. I could go on all day about how delicious the dinner was. We enjoyed a cocktail creation that had us contemplating cancelling our evening plans and staying put all night. I have spread the word to everyone I know that this restaurant is a keeper, from drinks to apps to dinner. We will be back often!

   Our group of 6 was hoping for a fun Saturday night in the LES, however at 10 pm, we were the only party in the whole restaurant. A few of us read reviews and the menu prior to going that night, and were hesitant, but wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. It was too quiet and empty for this neighborhood. Our group also felt the menu was too limited. We ended up sharing a quick bottle of wine, and headed elsewhere.

   Really bad. Not one other table seated at 8 pm on Saturday night. That was our first serious warning and we should have left immediately. Maitre de said they "have a little later crowd.". Maybe, but the stale beer smell at the doorway, limited pork- heavy menu with a fast food vibe, and Kowloon 1990s decor sent us running. Avoid.

   Came here on a Saturday 9pm. The place was empty, service was good. Ordered the steak which was tasty but chewy.

   We ordered the porkchops and braise short ribs which were both tasty. We loved the side of cucumber, vermicelli, and mint on one of the hottest days of the summer, very refreshing. Service was awesome, very attentive and friendly.

   I would classify this Resturant as a hidden Gem. It is very affordable, along with outstanding customer service. The waiter may have been even to attenitive; but that's not something that you can necessarily complain about. The food was outstanding along with the sauces that they apply on the side. If your debating about whether to go here or not, stop thinking about it and Go!

   I really wanted to love People's Kitchen but the food was just not quite there. We ordered appetizers and dinner and neither one was great. They were just average, not bad but not great. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere is really modern. The drinks and the bartender were both exceptional.
