   This place has great potential and a good menu, but service was too slow across the board. By the time we got our food our drinks were cold and it took a long time when needing to order more drinks, get the bill and then pay it. Hopefully just a blip, it's a nice place

   Nice place to meet up -maybe a sign post on the main road will make it easier to find. We all enjoyed a pleasant breakfast and will be going back for lunch and to try a brunch there.

   Unfortunately the breakfast was served virtually cold as was the tea and coffees we had ordered . Service was flaky. Maybe too busy and not enough trained conscientious staff . Such a shame as we have had some lovely breakfasts and lunches here .

   Service was quick and every one was friendly. Food was delicious, very well done and presented beautifully. The rump steak was flavourful and the truffle chips were amazing. Very good value for money. The restaurant and toilets were clean and modern. Can’t wait to come back!

   The singer had arrived and left before we arrived at 3.30pm. The waiter removed my partners plate as he had finished his dinner but I was still eating mine. Normally you should wait until all people at the table have finished. Overall a nice visit and will return

   Very well prepared and cooked food. Roast was delicious. Staff very attentive. A delightful lunchtime. Will be back for more (and probably more after that)

    I have been to Penelope’s before and thought the food and service was really good, so decided to book for a Sunday Dinner. On arrival I was seated and provided menus to choose from and decided to go for a Sunday Dinner, where as my 12 year old was looking forward to tucking into a Burger. The menus clearly state that items, such as the Burger, is served Every Day but we were told that they were in fact not available on Sundays. I had pointed this out to the waitress who basically couldn’t care less and we were told it was Sunday Roast or Pizza. It’s a shame this was not made clear when booking, as even the correspondence leading to our visit provided access to the menus.
