Lovely Keralan food. Starters and pomfret fry deliciously spicy. Fish and chicken curries beautifully flavoured. Surroundings not what we expected, but food was delicious, and staff were very helpful and attentive.¿Te fue útil?

Delicious, rare, thoughtful food. Zaibatsu, just over the road, also sells exceptional food at value-for-money prices, and is also a BYO. You cannot get in without pre-booking, and sometimes not then. I predict that this locality will become a rendezvous for foodies, given the excellence of the Kerala offering at Pathiri. Don't be a snob. Get down there for the food. It's first rate. I had the fish and green mango curry which was full of texture and bite, with none of the acridity and fishiness you can sometimes endure with fish curry. The two veggies in our party were delighted with their choices (which, sorry, I've forgotten). I thought the chicken biryani was delicious, but the person who had it was underwhelmed. Picky, fastidious person she is. Trust me, this was amazing, fresh food at a very sensible price: even the pickles were a change and we bickered to identify the flavours. As I say, it would be a surprise if booking is not required in six months time to get in the door. Once the foodies uncover these places... As for the service, I read one grumbly review. Our server was friendly, informal, attentive, and funny. Probably no good if you are out to impress the boss, but it was fine to impress me. Right on the money, in fact. The toilets are almost as ghastly as the blue stretch nylon covers on the chairs but listen, we are NOT EATING THE CHAIRS! In short: a total food hit at a do-able price and worthy of your attention. The new spicy restaurant of preference in Greenwich/Blackheath.¿Te fue útil?

We went there for Onam. It is a harvest festival in Kerala. There were so many dishes and unbelievably delicious. The staff were so lovely and attentive. Would recommend this place any day.¿Te fue útil?
