   The fresh house made pastas are cooked perfectly and the wine list has something for everyone. The restaurant is small and relatively quiet. Prices are reasonable and the desserts are worth a try.

   Angelo and Maria own a gorgeous little Italian restaurant in an unassuming strip mall. Past E Pani has about fourteen tables, prefers reservations and offers personal service by the chef and his wife who are very friendly and inviting hosts. The fresh pasta is a nice touch, and they seem to have a large wine selection with a full bar. I ordered linguini bolognese, which I assumed would have more meat in the sauce, while my companion tried the risotto special. Both dishes were very flavorful and made an ample entree. After dinner we ordered cannoli for dessert. Our sweet treat came to the table in two tiny shells filled with cream, great for two. The ambiance was pleasant and quiet broken only by Angelo's antics and the laughter of guests. Food was really good but mine could have had more meat and dessert was okay but I have had better. All in all it is a nice spot for a special occasion, as it is expensive, because of the quality of the food and special touches such as talking to Angelo and Maria.

   This place never disappoints! The food is the best and it is always nice when Angelo and Maria (the owners) come out to greet and check on the customers. Every time my wife and I are in Virginia Beach, we make it a point to eat here.

   There were six of us and everyone enjoyed their meal. It was a lovely evening and great place for fantastic Italian food in the Great Neck Road Corridor.

   We have never been disappointed at Pasta e Pani! We particularly love the pasta dishes that Chef finishes inside a wheel of parmesan! Truly yummy!

   This was our first time in the new location. Pasta e Pani was a regular favorite of my parents' growing up. We had both rockfish specials, an Almondine and a risotto. They were outstanding.

    Chef Angelo and his wife Maria have a wonderful restaurant that serves excellent Italian dinners. They are very attentive and provide wonderful service. Their wine list is very reasonably priced. Menu items can be adjusted depending on specific taste and desires. Maria's desserts are wonderful, so save some room.
