   The food was ok but felt overpriced given that we were not wowed by any of it and kept having to ask for the French toast syrup and hollandaise sauce that was supposed to have arrived with our dishes. The drinks were decent although when you have to ask repeatedly, where your cocktail is, it spoils the experience. The remodeled space is very bland and noisy with bare walls and mirrors and tile flooring throughout the restaurant. We had problems hearing each other throughout our experience. Our biggest issue and the one that left us feeling frustrated and disappointed, was the service. After being seated promptly there seem to be ongoing confusion and lack of organization and attention to detail from a rotating set of staff. After arriving at the restaurant at 1 PM, we still had not received our mains at 2:20 PM despite ordering fairly quickly. We had to repeatedly ask what was happening with our food over a 45 minute period when no one seemed to know what was going on. It really impacted our overall experience, we had fond memories of Park Tavern, and we will not be going back.

   We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, starting with tuna crudo with a citrusy sauce, olives and nuts, and a delicious warm pea and pea-shoot salad. Entrees included salmon and hanger steak—both cooked perfectly. We enjoyed lemon sorbet and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Wine list is extensive and cocktails were good too. We liked sitting near the window and looking out on Washington Square.

   Food was decent but very poor service. Waited nearly 40 mins for waiter to greet our table. Dinner took close to two hours with no check in once food was delivered. Full order not served and mistake not acknowledged for missing dish. Asked to take home remaining pizza — plates were taken but no food returned to us. We finally just left after having to ask for the tab. Disappointing experience for well known and nice north beach location

   We had a very nice dinner at Park Tavern. Our server (Simi?) was outstanding. Very attentive, and right on it with all our wants and needs. The oysters were amazing, and everything else was very good. The deviled eggs were not the old 'Park Tavern' deviled eggs, but still good. The asparagus salad was excellent, and the burger was one of the best I've had in a while.

   Delicious food, great wine pairings and excellent service. My only negative is I feel decor is lacking. The place feels cold and somewhat bare. Warming it up with candles, flowers, or even table cloths would help!

   Everything was so nice....we opted to take some of our leftovers home and we never received it. We didn't think of it until we left. I had ordered a dish was a little too creamy. My fault. I ordered salmon to replace that dish (which we were paying for...no problem...,my fault) but never got the leftovers after we requested. Everything was very good! Service was a little slow....when we ordered a drink ....and we were compensated!!! Just want to be honest....hope this is ok.....

   I should have paid attention to the other reviews before booking the table.  There were five of us, and we were all relatively disappointed by our dishes.  food summary is below. Service was pretty bad. We had to get up and specifically ask to get a server to order, as well as to pay, and after we received the bill to actually give them out our credit card to pay because nobody ever approached the table. -Oysters—Great. Hard to mess these up. -Bread—good, but served with cold butter (absolute no-no) -Cacio e Pepe— lacking cheese and pepper, and the server said it’s a huge portion enough to serve two people. Two people split it, and it was barely enough to serve one person. -crab pasta—this tasted more like cacio e Pepe than the actual cacio e Pepe (with crab on top) -vegetable bolognese—absolutely no flavor. I never salt anything generally, and this requires massive amounts of salt to bring out any flavor (at which point it wasn’t too bad). - roasted carrots—really good -fries—good but also in a weird way where they were somewhat stale tasting and a little overcooked

   Wonderful to be back at the Park Tavern. Everything we had was delicious - the crispy calamari and shrimp was off the charts! Fantastic service and can't wait to come back.
