Had a lovely meal for my friend’s birthday. We had the set lunch and the food was really good. We had the duck. They gave my friend a special plate with Happy Birthday and a gorgeous piece of cake on it. The service by Khanylsa was attentive and helpful. The only complaint was that if you wanted the soup there was no bread with it and you would be charged £6 for bread. This seemed mean. Overall though, I’d recommend for a good lunch.

The service was impeccable, very attentive and friendly. We were treated to two glasses of champagne on the house. The menu was varied with savoury as well as sweet and the quality of the scones was exceptional. We will definitely return.

The service was nice. And the special Bears for our kids created a fun atmosphere. Not to mention the tea was very good.

Nicely presented. Staff were friendly however the service was incredibly slow. My granddaughter was given her sandwiches whilst I sat and watched her eat half an hour later they brought mine so she had to then sit and watch me eat. They brought the pallet cleanser before had been brought any food… We usually enjoy afternoon tea here but this time we were very disappointed. The children’s afternoon tea has clearly been down graded. Also the usual happy birthday was missing.

Went for afternoon tea. No one knew what to do, even the most simple tasks like providing a tea menu were not understood by servers or the manger as the “lead tea person” was working an event. Very disappointing experience all around.

We had an awesome dinner at this eatery. The service was very attentive and the food was amazing. Best Negroni ever!

This was a disaster. Arranged for an easy walk to the Albert Hall for my wife's 78th birthday the lunchtime ambience was one of dire emptiness with guests outnumbered by mostly inattentive staff. My choice of main was a huge mistake. 90% of the brisket was inedible fat. The waiting staff appeared incapable of reacting to the situation so I just ended up declining to pay for the dish. The bill still came to over £110 for a lunch in which I consumed a bowl of soup and six chips. Horrendous.

The food was reasonable, but over priced for what it was. Service was friendly but very poor. Orders had to be repeated and chased. Some items on the menu were unavailable, including a desertordered by our party which was replaced for another option without first checking.
