Park 54 Restaurant and Lounge is a small black-owned business in Hyde Park, MA. "Park 54" is inspired by the life and service of the men who served in the 54th Regiment - a volunteer infantry comprised of free Black American male soldiers. The regiment was established in Readville, MA, now known as "Hyde Park." Despite the backlash the men received for fighting in a "white man's war" each bravely risked their lives for the freedom and betterment of their families, community, and country.

Our mission is to continue the legacy of the historical 54th Regiment. We have created a safe haven where our beloved community of Hyde Park and the neighboring towns, can experience the freedom, happiness, and fullness of self-expression the 54th Regiment fought for. Having only been open for less than a year, we have already accomplished this by offering great food, innovative libations, incredible music, compelling historical artifacts, and an inviting ambiance!

Went with a group of friends and had a great experience. There were 7 of us and a some of us had delays. The restaurant worked with us and we had a lovely time. Good ambiance, great music (it was Saturday night and they had a DJ come on around 9pm).

Lindsey!!!!! She curated an experience for us for an early dinner. She’s wonderful. Catfish was yummm as always. The tacos… you won’t go wrong. So dang good!

We went as a party of 4. We went during Dine Out week. The food was great, would go back again. The only issue we had was the table was a little off balance. Seemed like the base was off. We let our server know and another server did attempt to fix it. Ended up putting some napkins under the table. It is a small place and we were not offered another table. One person in our party had the catfish strips and the shrimp and grits, excellent, the other three in our party had steak and various sides. All excellent portions, plenty to take home for another meal. We were all so full, but ordered the desserts to go. Would go again or order take out. I recommend.

We paid this restaurant a visit prior to checking out a play at the Riverside Theatre! The food was very tasty (We highly recommend the Hennessey honey wings & collared greens!) and the service was great!
