   We experienced the Easter Brunch. Every thing from reservation to paying the bill was a seamless process. The food options were great, really as advertised. The staffing was abundant and very attentive. Our primary person was Ivan, he did an absolutely wonderful job. We will attend another of the special event brunches in the future.

   Liked the options at Easter Brunch but did not like having to pay 20% tip for a meal for four where we served ourselves. Had no notice of the required charge. Service was not great because the restaurant was so busy. Drinks were late, plates were not picked up, and we had to ask for our refills.

   I expected Greek rotisserie individual chicken pieces or a carved entree-size piece for guests and not tiny pieces of chicken mashed up in rice. The lamb was barely detectable in the sauce. The little shrimp and gummy grits was an unappetizing substandard mess. It is as if they were on a shoestring budget and skimped on the meats and side vegetables (nonexistent). The dining event fell short of my expectations and was not worth $65.00 per person. I enjoyed their NYE celebration package at the beginning of the year, but would definitely not return for their Easter event.

   We have been to Parizade on multiple occasions so this review is only about this visit. We went for one of their wine pairing dinners and I was particularly excited for the French wines. The food was overall outstanding, my least favorite dish was the lobster gratin, I found it to be too greasy. Service was good but not as good as in past visits, upon arrival there was a random pint glass on our table, no other tables had a pint glass and this was a wine pairing. During one of the courses the wine server started to pour a red in my used, empty white wine glass. I stopped her and said oh that was white wine in there, she looked at me like “so??” and asked me “well do you mind?”, I said well actually can I get a fresh glass? She looked displeased with my request but got me a new glass. This was the first time I had experienced them reusing the same glasses for different wines. I am not a wine connoisseur but I do know from attending multiple pairings, they should provide fresh glasses, especially if switching from white to red or vice versa. Lastly, unfortunately all the wines were not good, my fiancé loves all wines and is less critical, and he did not enjoy any that night. It was our first time leaving the pairing without purchasing any bottles, I guess that was a money savings. I still think Parizade is a great restaurant but this night, they did not meet their usual standard.

   One of my favorite restaurants for Food and wine dinner pairings! Typically the best value of all the Durham area restaurants. Food is always delicious and the wine pairings are well thought out.

    Excellent food & ambience. Drink service was a little slow but we were a group of 6. I would definitely recommend and return!
