   It was my birthday, and as always, I chose to celebrate at P2P, my go-to spot for special occasions. However, this time the food didn’t quite meet expectations. I ordered my favorite — Methi Malai Mutter — and specifically asked for it to be served hot and spicy, but it arrived tasting unexpectedly sweet. Normally, their Methi Malai Mutter is outstanding, but this time it was quite disappointing. That said, the service truly made up for it. The host, Saniya, was kind and apologetic, and the manager (I couldn’t recall her name) also personally came over to apologize. They even surprised me with a birthday special cheesecake — and it was absolutely delicious! Even though the food fell short this time, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff turned things around and made my day special with their thoughtful gesture.

   Nice food, good service. It was quite evident that the chefs put real effort in making the food.

   Food was 10/10, and will become a regular visit for us when we're visiting Vancouver in the near future! We were the only people seating in the bar area and even we had to request and/or wait for the bartender to notice we needed water, the check, the payment terminal, it was unfortunate because the food was so great.

   Food was interesting but overpriced, they don't know how to make an aperol spritz, too much corner cutting and ice in pricey drinks. The staff were amenable to requests towards the start, but not on the ball with delivering simple chutney in 10 mins before customers finish their main. The curries are nice bough ought come with rice for the price. The Gulab Jamun is extortion at $7 for two thumb sized pieces. They didn't have change for cash payment, and when presentrd with the card machine your options are 18% and above or no tip - no customising, and when you stack a forced generosity 18% on your already pricey meal, the waiter becomes unpleasant, ungrateful and you are dismissed. No thanks.

   We sat upstairs so it wasn’t in the main restaurant. We arrived early for our reservation but they sat us right away which was nice. I saw they had a Valentines cocktail online but it wasn’t promoted anywhere and when I inquired our server had no idea. She left our area shortly after so I asked our next server who also didn’t know but went and found the information so I could order. We had other tables’ food and drink come to our table 5 times by confused servers. Drinks were always a long wait. The food tasted good, sizes were good as well. We ordered the non veg thali, butter chicken pasta and lamb chops. The chops were generous size compared to other restaurants, 5 thick pieces but they weren’t cooked well. Some pieces were overcooked and very tough. The taste was good though, nice blend of spices. The thali was a nice way to taste a few items and came with rice and naan. The pasta was nice too but chicken pieces could have been cut smaller. Generous portion also. Overall, I think they just need better service.

   I love the bank of seating with brighter lightning on one side. So I can actually see what I'm eating.

    The prices are affordable and of good value. Food presentation is also eye catching and makes you water your mouth just by the looking at it. The food was so delicious and beautifully served.
