   Quick appetizers and Pizza before a show at the State Theatre in New Brunswick. Thought the apps were pretty good, we had two specials, Eggplant Rolllatini and calamari with shrimp, pineapple and red pepper. The Pizza was a disappointment. Not really a thin crust as promised, a little burnt on the top. The service was uneven but the overall experience was relaxed and enjoyable.

   The restaurant needs an overhaul it looked dingy the windows were dirty. Waitress was not familiar with the menu or what the name of the house wine was or if they carried other wines (which they didn’t). Eggplant Parmesan was dry .

   Nice food. Plain atmosphere. Good service. Convenient location with parking garage next door.

   The food was okay and it was inexpensive so that was a plus. The portions are also pretty big. The service however was abysmal. She forgot to bring half the drinks, Had to be asked for bread twice and one of the wines had stuff floating in it. When asked if there was a wine menu she seemed stumped despite the menus reference of one. She also didn’t know and couldn’t be bothered to find out what the house wine was.

   The original restaurant was across the street from this current location ..they also had a pizza joint on the other side of the same street. For whatever reason they moved the original restaurant into this pizza parlor...not good. What was once a romantic setting is now a combo fast food grub hub. Looks like they do a lot of take out while trying to maintain an in-house dining experience ...just doesn’t work. Service is average to slow and the food is pedestrian. Skip this place unless you go for pub grub

   We had an outstanding meal with family after visiting a local museum in New Brunswick. The food was fresh and very tasty and they even offer small and large portions, which was great for those who don’t want a lot in their plate! Great service by Emily and a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

   Extremely disappointing experience. We have been to Panico’s before at it’s location a crossed the street. The service was inconsistent, the selection was poor and the entree was cold when served. What used to be a premier restaurant in New Brunswick has turned into a pizzeria that serves some meals.

    I ordered the veal parm and it was overcooked, very greasy and very hard and dry. It didn't even look like veal. My companion had veal saltambocca and said it was very salty. I should have sent the food back but I had a coupon for a free meal. Will not go back.
