   We loved the food and the service. The restaurant is super nice but We would just suggest a better ambiance. Other than that it was awesome.

   Nice service, the rolled steak was great! Simple menu was good for me but was very limiting for my wife who doesnt eat beef or pork

   Very intimate setting and the food was Amazing! One of the Best meals we’ve had in Costa Rica. We will definitely be back.

   Best meal we had in Las Catalinas! Brian our server was awesome and the food we had was impeccable. Highly recommend this restaurant over the others at this hotel!

   This was the best overall meal and dining experience we had, including Sentido Norte, in the Las Catalinas area. A hidden gem. And highly recommended.

   Service was extremely slow. Food was undercooked especially vegetables. Prices were very high especially considering we did not get any food within an hour of sitting down. Ambience was pleasant and everyone working there was very kind and understanding.

   The food was very good. Had the baby back rib appetizer, Korean style sauce, and they were tasty and tender. For a Main Dish we enjoyed their Coulotte/Picahna (brisket). And their vegetable sides of mushrooms and asparagus made for a delightful and tasty dinner. The restaurant is small but nice for an intimate dinner for 2. Their cocktails and wine selection were very good. I recommend. It’s easy to share plates. Service was friendly and good. I recommend.

   We made a reservation for a table about a week in advance. We ran into a lot of traffic so we called an hour before our reservation to change it and they only had two openings. Our original reservation was at 6:45 so we took the next available which was at 7:30. Once we got there they didn’t have the reservation change but it didn’t matter because there were plenty of tables. The email we had received from them stated that the dress code was business casual. When we walked in there were people in t shirts and shorts. The food was mediocre. The worst thing was the $7.35 they charged for regular water. There are other good restaurants and this is not one.

    We were turned away by the valet on the evening of New Years Day 2024, who stated that the restaurant is part of an adults only hotel (we had two kids in the back seat of our car). This was after we drove approximately 90 minutes from the Papagayo Peninsula on a hair raising route through the mountains to get to this place. Tip: do not attempt to drive Route 911 from Sardinal to Las Catalinas — this road goes through a river just west of Nuevo Colon, which at the time of our travel would have been very dangerous in our vehicle. There is an alternative route from Nuevo Colon called “Ruta del Sol,” but the final portion of this route as you approach Las Catalinas is an extremely steep dirt road, and is not recommended either. I didn’t see any “adults only” policy listed on either OpenTable or the restaurant website at the time of booking. Of course, other restaurants in Las Catalinas were already reserved and weren’t taking walk-ins until 8pm, which wouldn’t have worked for us because of the long return drive. Fortunately, a kind staff member at one of these other restaurants served us in the waiting lounge. Overall, this was an awful experience and one that could have easily been avoided by clearly disclosing the adults only nature of the facility.
