   This place will certainly be a hot spot soon enough!! Some Tweaks to the menu and fine tune service and everything else will fall in place! In street terms “this place is HOT”. Can’t wait to come back.

   No people at all in the restaurant. We were the only ones there, which is kind of strange when you are on Manhattan

   The food was the best we’ve had at many restaurants recently. The room is pretty casual - looks like a hotel breakfast dining space. It was quite empty, so I hope that the word gets out. The block that the hotel is on is not particularly inviting either.

   Excellent Mexican food in this small hotel restaurant. Very quirky decor which added to the fun. We went on a Friday night and there was only 3 occupied tables which was very odd so the place lacked a bit of atmosphere. Very good service.

   We went early on a Friday because we had a show at 8pm so the restaurant was a bit quiet. We sat in the outside patio which was lovely. The service was over the top great. The cocktails were amazing and to illustrate the great service the waiter volunteered to have the bartender make me his favorite drink with tequila vs gin because I said I loved tequila! Food was soooooo good and perfect for sharing. We loved everything we had and I think you could not choose poorly if you tried. We would definitely go back. Enjoy!!!

   Our recent dinner at Paloma was a little better than good- maybe 3 1/2 stars- but didn't rise to the exceptional levels suggested by many of the on-line reviews and 'best restaurant' rankings. We spend a reasonable amount of time on the Mexican Riviera and are acquainted with South American cuisine, so this seemed an interesting choice. Venue: A pretty, exotic-wood-and-mirror decor with a bit of a hard-edged contemporary feel. The restaurant is smaller than we expected, and seating along the long side has a full view of the bright bar service area. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy so the noise level was modest- but the reflective surfaces probably make it noisy when it's busy. Menu/Food: A solid small-late menu with a more limited entre selection. Variety was adequate, with some interesting preparations. Our appetizers were the tuna tostada (quite good) and carpaccio (very good- the pine buts a nice touch). For main courses we selected the crispy cod tacos and short ribs; both were good but didn't particularly distinguish themselves from many others. Service was prompt without being intrusive. All in all a credible dinner, but not on our list of places to rave about.

    This is located literally in the lobby of a hotel. Photos are very misleading. Food was very good but the atmosphere is NOT worth it. Very disappointed.
