   The kitchen seems to be understaffed and the management lacking as far as what they need to have in stock to serve their customers. Every beer on the menu either was out or had only 1 bottle left. And this was after 3 beers were brought to our table and were frozen, so not drinkable. They also ran out of octopus so for the main "pulpo a la plancha" , they had to make substitutions. The plates came one at a time with long gaps which draws out the meal, and is not overly satisfying since the plates are relatively small. Overall, it was disappointing. And I would not recommend it.

   If you are in PDX there should only be one choice in mind when thinking ceviche, PAICHE.

   Creative and lovely ceviche. Stunning flavors. Staff is attentive and efficient even when crowded it feels calm.

   Gorgeous to look at, delicious to eat, the flavorful, creative dishes: total thumbs up. It's a small kitchen, staff, so was told that limits their ability to offer small plates, which makes it less desirable for a solo or other diners who enjoy tasting many offerings from a menu during a visit. If one is prepared to just order one dish, or two people each order a dish and then share, then it's a great place to enjoy a meal. Parking was no problem, always a plus.

   Our dinner at Paiche was one of the best we've had in a long time, and we've eaten at many great Portland restaurants. The food at Paiche is amazing, the flavors unique, and the service is outstanding. I highly recommend Paiche for a wonderful meal. It is a small restaurant so reservations are a good idea unless you eat very early.

   This was my second time dining at Paiche. I would say that Chef Jose Luis is an artist. He uses the best ingredients and creates dishes that are delicious and very well presented. The food coupled with the friendly service make eating at Paiche a superb dining experience.

   Amazing amazing Peruvian food done at the highest level in a casual setting, and amazingly expensive. Is it worth it? Yes, but be prepared to spend some money because you will want to try everything and you should. It is one of the best meals you will have on Portland at the moment and that's saying a hell of a lot. Enjoy!

   The food and service were excellent. The service was particularly warm and friendly. They were very careful with a gluten free diet. I think it is the best cebiche in the city. Our whole family loved it.

    This is our 4th time, when we can get a reservation! It is not only gluten free but mostly dairy free too, Peruvian food may naturally lend itself to this ability but the chef takes it further. Delicious with all dishes and they are opening on Wednesdays soon! Might be a little easier to get a reservation!
