   So they just opened and the only place that can go Is up. Huge fan of this restaurant group had been going to his restaurants for many years. This is the first bad experience ever. Comparing this to the DC location and this was a huge disappointment. The menu was limited, and the food was either too spicy or just bland. The dessert portion size was embarrassing. The overwhelming taste was the popcorn and not the flan, which was nothing more than a dollop on the plate. The chairs at the table were very uncomfortable. The noise level was huge and it was difficult to even have a conversation.

   Great fun, would be terrific for a large group since the menu is diverse and has many sharing options.

   Wow. The waiter was wack. Had to ask for water, chips, dessert menu, refills soooo many times. It was obvious the tables he was paying attention to. Disappointed with the obvious discrimination. Money is green for all.

   Yet again, another inventive and thoughtful Jose Andres experience leaves little to be desired. Oyamel leans into more traditional Mexican fare but with Chef Andres’ signature touches (don’t miss the ‘gazpacho’ salad). The menu includes fun takes on favorite dishes, like vegetarian aguachile as a complement to the atun saviche and the chicharones quesadilla. Margaritas are an absolute must — the “salt air” replaces your classic rim with a stable saltwater foam with the look and feel of natural ocean spray. Service, even opening weekend, was immaculate and we didn’t feel rushed. Even with cocktails, dinner for two was quite reasonably priced, though Oyamel’s location inside Little Spain means your reservation is practically guaranteed to begin or end with a shopping trip. And as with all other Jose Andres restaurants, Oyamel accepts payment via the InKind app, which rewards customers with 20% cash back to spend at future participating restaurants (so treat yourself to that second/third marg).

   This was their first night and they hit the mark on everything ! Service was warm and helpful . Food was amazing ! Management was so personable ..shout out to Dino and Vic and our waiter Jose !

   Delicious food and beautiful presentation. The service was fantastic. Alejandra demonstrated excellent hospitality and checked in regularly to endurance we had everything we needed.
