   We visited twice. The first time was for lunch with no reservation. They sat us next to the bathrooms despite many open tables. Service was ridiculously slow. Locals are served much faster. It took us 15 minutes to receive our first drink. Otherwise the food and atmosphere were fantastic. The second time we made a reservation because the food was so good we wanted to give them another chance. This time they sat us next to the bar in a segregated part of the restaurant. Since it was early, there were many other tables in the main part of the restaurant. When the waitress visited our table, we asked if she spoke English. She skoffed and turned to walk away from us without a word and sent someone else over. It was extremely rude and set the tone for a terrible experience. Luckily our new waiter was kind and attentive. Food was fantastic but again, the locals received their drinks before we did. I can only guess that it was because we are American that we were served after locals were attended to first. So beware.

   As Americans, we enjoy an earlier dining time than the locals, so seating was immediate, and the noise level was low. My wifecand i shared a fairly good pizza, but the highlight for us was the margaritas!

   The food was so-so. It felt like "sour" was the vibe. One of the drinks we ordered was too bitter to drink, and I sent back my chicken picatta because it tasted like it had been made with bad wine (they said it was a lot of lemon - either way, I couldn't eat it). They must have been short staffed as service was very, very slow. Took ages to get food, return visit from server, check. Ambiance was fine. Good area of town. Pizza and simple pasta were good. But overall, I wouldn't go back here.
