Osteria Venice West is a casual Italian restaurant that reflects Michelin Star (2 years in a row) Chef Luigi Fineo’s native Italian roots. Located in a landmark building in the heart of Venice Beach, the restaurant features an open kitchen designed to be a social gathering place, where guests can enjoy rustic Italian cuisine & regional wines. Respecting Apulian traditions, all pastas are made in-house, fresh, and daily using semolina flour. Our pizza dough is also made in-house using natural levain starter. Just steps away from the beach, Osteria Venice West is a favorite amongst locals and tourists.

Menu wasn’t what I was expecting at all. Me and my wife went for our 1 year anniversary and both of us have not seen a menu like this at an Italian restaurant the menu was very limited . . But we said hey lots give it a shot . We ordered calamari and muscles to start . Calamari was not fried so that was new but it was extremely chewy . Felt like I was chewing on rubber bands . The muscles my wife ate were okay. We got the check then went to a very nice bar on the Venice board walk and just ate bar food .

This was our second time there and we brought a couple with us. We all loved this restaurant - great food, the waiter was wonderful and the wine delicious.

I hate that this place is closing down. To put in a Ramen shop!? I mean, I like Ramen, but it will never be as good as Osteria...

The quality of the food was mediocre for the price. I expected the food to be quite superior given the chef. If I am paying $30+ for fish you shouldn’t over cook the food. I general , I was extremely disappointed and will never go back.

Fantastic Italian food! We each chose different items off of the (4 course) tasting menu and everything was delicious. Will definitely go back!
