Alpine Restaurant Group Chef/Owner Joe Cassinelli introduces a uniquely innovative concept to the Waltham area, with an upscale but approachable take on today’s Italian steakhouse. Conveniently located in Waltham on 95N, across the street from the Westin Hotel. The 8,000 square foot Osteria Posto shows off modern Italian design elements blended with casual comfort. Tufted leather banquettes, tall ceilings, rough sawn beams, mosaic tiles, decorative Italian glass, a sleek stone bar and rich millwork set the scene for a great meal. The menu at Osteria Posto features prime steaks, fish & game, signature handmade pastas, charcuterie, artisanal cheese and an extensive selection of shareable small plates. Osteria Posto's wine list is Italian focused but encompasses the globe and is complimented by a craft cocktail program.

Been there several times the food is always excellent service is great a little on the expensive side or overpriced for the casual dining out definitely worth it

My girlfriend and I booked a last minute anniversary dinner here and had a wonderful experience beginning to end! Our waiter Fabiano was exceptionally kind and helpful, and our other waiter Alexander was also very nice and helpful with our wine selection! Would definitely recommend and will 100% be going back

The ambiance and lighting were subdued and perfect, even as more people arrived the atmosphere remained quiet and romantic. The waiter also added to the quality experience with his knowledge on wine and the dishes ordered!

After having usually fantastic experiences, this visit was a complete bust. Poor host, server and even the manager was inefficient and unfriendly. These days, going out isn’t cheap. If service is poor, it makes it all seem painful, not the enjoyment you should feel treating yourself.

Osteria Posto provides a very good outdoor dining experience. It would be good if they got some outdoor heaters to enable outdoor dining as the weather gets colder.
