Osterias have always been a staple of Italian dining culture. Back in the day, it used to be a place serving wine and simple food.
In the last 30 years, with the introduction of the slow food movement, Osteria got a relevant role in the Italian dining scene. Emphasis shifted to food made with local produce, shot menus and specialities such as house-made pasta, served to share in the middle of the table.
Our aim at Osteria Morelli is to showcase all the beautiful produce of the Northern Rivers, using Italian techniques and principles. On our menu, you will find homemade pasta, daily baked focaccia, fruit and veggies from amazing local farmers and only the best meat and fish available on the day.

Osteria Morelli delivers an outstanding dining experience. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined, making it a great place to enjoy a proper meal. The menu focuses on fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care and skill in every dish. Service was spot-on—professional, friendly, and attentive without being over the top. The wine list is well thought out and pairs perfectly with the food. It’s clear that a lot of pride goes into what they do here. If you’re looking for a place that does things properly, with good food and genuine hospitality, Osteria Morelli is well worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back.

Fantastic delicious food, very authentic, relaxing atmosphere, amazing service. Doggo felt at home and he fell asleep.

Fantastic food, great service!!! Would highly recommend. The place was a bit loud and therefore hard to have a conversation. But a jovial, loud place means people are having a good time!

Amazing food !! Incredible & Loved it ! Staff friendly however too busy to spend time with diners. Spanish waitress was beautiful. Italian lady too rushed especially with the price for dinner. Would like more attention. Loved the plants and the vibe. Need fans to move the heat.

Dinner for 4. Antipasto plate filled us up - wow what delicious tomatoes. Nonetheless we enjoyed main courses too but no room for dessert. Well done to all for a great evening.
