O'Shea's Restaurant in Dublin, Ireland does not honor reservations. We were quickly ushered out of the restaurant with a business card thrust in our face to contact someone else in regard to our New Year's Eve reservation. The staff was rude and we watched the same thing happen to another person, Shannon, at the same time as us. They should be removed from OpenTable!

I booked a table for 7 and we were stuck in a little corner of the restaurant where 3 people were stuck in their seats. This was booked off the back of a fantastic looking menu online, none of which was true. We arrived to a very limited menu that was reduced even further when being told they didn’t have most of what was on it. The food was terrible and was just frozen food cooked up and very disappointing. We were met with the same issues on the drinks menu, again being told they did not have what was advertised. The service was bare minimum. I would definitely not recommend this place.

We turned up at the restaurant to be turned away because they didn’t have a table for us. They had the booking on the list but we were told that the boss over books the restaurant. This left 8 of us with nowhere to eat on a Saturday night in the centre of Dublin. The staff were not even apologetic.

I booked this restaurant through open table on Saturday evening, when my 5 guests and I arrived to the restaurant, they were fully booked and looked at my email confirmation and said 'sorry, our boss is at home not looking at the bookings' - very poor from a well-established restaurant.

We decided to switch our place whith a french family wich was split in different parts of the piece. The responsible offered us a piece of apple pie and said : it's a present, because you changed your places ... But after having pay, we constated on the bill we paid this part of cake !!!! Such a deception... Apologies for the errors, i'm french.

Difficile de se faire une idée, vous avez validé une réservation pour 22h alors que leur cuisine s'arrête à 21h.... On a dû trouver ailleurs, et sans réservation, c'est impossible...

The Guinness Stew was amazing; very tender and flavorful. My son tried lamb for the first time and was very impressed. Our waitress was spectacular!
